WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST FLAVOR?
Apple Spice. I always add a nut butter (sunflower, almond or peanut butter), fresh berries, and hemp seeds, especially if I'm looking for an extra protein boost after a harder workout.
WHAT'S YOUR WORKOUT ROUTINE?
I usually train 6-7 days per week with one rest day every few weeks. My training is a combination of lighter, active recovery days (e.g., swimming, recovery-endurance heart rate bike rides, yoga, mobility work) and higher intensity tempo workouts (e.g., speed work at the track, harder interval bike rides). When I'm closer to races and in competition mode (usually 6 months out from a 70.3), I usually do 2 training blocks per day 4-5 days a week.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE? FAVORITE OUTDOOR SPOTS?
Brooklyn, NY. I love biking to Nyack for coffee and a donut, or to the Rockaways for a view of the beach and to pretend I live in California. Another one of my favorites for the weekend is renting a car and driving up to the Catskills to hike and swim.
IF YOU COULD DO ANYTHING (MONEY DIDN'T MATTER), WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
I'd either be an actress or a professional triathlete...or both :) and I'd own a little coffee and breakfast spot.
